The Ruff Diamonds Bridge Club has been running at Coombe Wood Tennis Club since 2011.

Congratulations to our two bridge teams that take part in the Surrey Tennis Club League. Our original team (right below) came second and the new Ruff Diamonds team (left) came third behind the overall winners, Roehampton. The teams were presented with their trophies at the end-of-season dinner at St Georges Hill club on Wednesday 17 May.

Online duplicate sessions

We run regular duplicate sessions on Tuesday evenings using the online bridge platform, RealBridge. As well as letting you bid and play online, this innovative system lets you see your partner and opposition on screen and you can talk to them while playing. It's like a mixture of BBO and Zoom. It's a more natural system that improves the playing experience and has proved popular with members.

Membership

Membership of the bridge club is free to existing tennis club members and is open to other local bridge players. Contact Ian Stewart, the membership secretary, if you are interested in joining.
