Tennis has been played on or near the site of our current club since 1895 when the now-defunct Kingston Hockey Club first built 2 courts, but Coombe Wood LTC was actually founded as a tennis club in 1919, making 2019 our centenary year.

During the last century there have been many developments to the club with major changes to the courts and the clubhouse resulting in the excellent facilities that we enjoy today.
