The Club Committee takes health and safety seriously and aims to comply with all current regulations.
Child protection
The child protection officer is Meryl Lloyd. Our child protection policy can be downloaded here.
Fire safety
Our clubhouse complies with current standards regarding fire safety. A full risk assessment can be downloaded here.
We have provided detectors in the bar and kitchen; fire extinguishers in the lounge, kitchen, and office; emergency lighting for means of escape and an evacuation notice on the main notice board.
Detectors are tested every Saturday to familiarise members with their sound.
In the event of an alarm going off, the club must be immediately evacuated. If you are in the immediate area of the alarm you should access the risk and take appropriate action.
As a members' club that is not permanently staffed, it is a member's responsibility to familiarise themself with the layout of the club, and the routes to the main door in the event of an emergency.
